Annapurna Sanctuary walking holidays 17 Days

Annapurna Base Camp trek is arguably the most famous treks in Nepal. Annapurna Base Camp trek (also known as Annapurna Sanctuary trek) is a true classic, amidst some of the highest and most spectacular mountains in the world with 360 degrees of mountains and massive glaciers around you. The view from this high, grassy valley is both awesome and relatively easy to achieve.  The lower part of Annapurna base camp trekking is rich with Gurung  and Magar culture. Many of the peaks are over 7000m, including the famous twin-peaked Machapuchare, as well as Annapurna I and III, Annapurna South, Gangapurna and Glacier Dome. Our trek begins in the terraced foothills close to Pokhara. The Ghorepani-Chumrung-Dhampus Ridge gives us picture-perfect panoramic views of the mountains and, as we pass through local farming communities, the vista becomes more impressive. As it is a moderate type of trekking , advance physical fitness is not necessary for it . Anyone can enjoy this trek along family members along with children too.
The itinerary of the route prepared by Himalayan Vacation Treks and Expedition to Annapurna sanctuary is a spectacular short trek. Though it has some steep climbs, the trek is not difficult. The trek traverses a variety of terrain, from lowland villages and rice terraces to glaciers and offers outstanding high mountain views.

After the 400m. uphill climb over the well-known stairs Ulleri begins. The steps are uneven and that makes us quite tiring. The path winds up through several steps. Above Ulleri there is thin habitation of people. Hence, it is quite and calm. We can see very few people working to in cultivation. Often there are ancient tattered huts as shelters. We walk through oak and rhododendron forest, growing along the river that leaps down in waterfalls. Especially in the spring, it is a fairy tale with the beautiful flowers wealth of rhododendrons.
