Himalayan Vacation Treks & Expedition has standard prices for most of its treks and expeditions based on a minimum of 2 participants. When 4 to 6 participants a discount of 10% will be granted. From 6 to 10 participants a discount of 12%, and above up to a maximum of 14 participants a discount of 15%. The prices as mentioned in our website are valid for the year 2020.
Bookings and Payments
Upon booking of the trip, or the latest before 120 days of the planned departure date of the trip, 25% of the trip cost will be paid into our company bank account.
Then, 50% of the total cost to be paid the latest before 60 days of the planned departure date. The remaining 25% of the total cost payable upon arrival in Kathmandu by bank transfer or in cash. If a trip is booked within the period of 60 days before it commences, the full payment has to be made at the time of booking the trip.
Mode of payment
Although we prefer payment by bank transfer we also accept payment by credit card (Visa or Master Card). In that case, because of the extra bank charges, we have to charge a commission of 4%. Local payment or other on the spot expenses have to be made on the day of your arrival in cash.
Refunds and Cancellation Policy
Payment of deposit will be regarded as an agreement to all the terms and conditions of the company.
In the event that you want change departure dates, please inform us in writing at least 30 days prior to the start of the trip. We cannot refund you for unused trip arrangements (like transportations, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing, trek days, etc.) once the trip has started.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
120 – 91 days: 10% of trip cost 90 – 46 days: 25% of trip cost 45 – 16 days: 50% of trip cost 15 days or less: 75% of trip cost
