Everest Gokyo Renjo La Pass Trek offers walking through off-beat routes in the Everest region. Since the paths are away from the mainstream, it is comparatively exotic and less crowded. Also, the views offered in these routes are not less than the base camp trails.
Everest Gokyo Renjo La Pass Trek lies in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal and is part of the Sagarmatha National Park. We need to cross over one of the high passes known as Renjo La pass (5360m) altitude.
Especially this region is home to Sherpa. They are friendly and helpful in nature.
People of this place have opened tea houses and lodges on this trail . They offer us comfortable and hygienic hospitality. They always welcome guest with smile faces.
The Renjo La Pass is the highest destination on this trail that offers an incredible view of the Everest chain. From this place we can have great view of the Gokyo lakes with snowy peaks on the backdrop.
This rout was once a trade route to Tibet in the past, Sherpa people used to walked through these routes to cross Nangpa La and reach Tibet for trade.
We can have view of Mt Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Aba Dablam, and other snowy peaks of the Khumbu region. On this trail we may encounter endangered animals like red pandas, snow leopards etc.

Also Important: on Domestic Flight (Kathmandu – Lukla)
The Government of Nepal has announced an issue for the flight operation to Lukla. Due to heavy traffic congestion in Kathmandu airport, most of the flights from and to Lukla are managed from Ramechhap airport which is located 130km from Kathmandu (approximately 3-4 hours drive). However, direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is available in off-seasons.
Alternatively, helicopter arrangements can be made on 4 people sharing basis with the addition of USD $ 550 for one-way flight per person to change your airplane flights to the helicopter. We will try to coordinate and form groups at the airport for this arrangement, but we cannot guarantee it. The jeep drive to Ramechhap and flight to Lukla is almost always guaranteed unless the flight is canceled due to bad weather conditions.
Travelers are suggested to advise us on the preferred alternatives for the flights to/from Lukla affected due to possible delays or disruptions.
