Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
You are welcomed to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal renowned for historical monuments, Hindu Temples, and Buddhist Stupas/Monasteries. We meet our guests at the Tribhuvan International Airport. A staff member will be waiting with a Himalayan Vacation Treks and Expedition placard with our guests’ names displayed. After dropping luggage at the hotel, guests are taken for a short sightseeing tour. In the evening, guests are invited to a Welcome Dinner at a Nepali restaurant.
Day 02: Kathmandu-Pokhara (820m) by bus 6-7 hours
This day we travel for 6-7 hours if we are going the bus. But if we are going by air it will take just 35min to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Immediately after you left Kathmandu you climb to the pass over the mountain ridge that surrounds Kathmandu valley. If it is a clear day, you can enjoy the phenomenal view of Ganesh Himal, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu and Annapurna on the way. The road descends to about 400 meters and runs along the Trishuli River. Sometimes we can see a group of people in rafts in the Trisuli River. The bus stops for lunch on the way. Finally, we reach Pokhara the most beautiful city of Nepal by the afternoon. From today onwards, after the dinner or before we go to bed, the Himalayan Vacation Treks and Expedition trekking guide will take a report and give a briefing in every evening about the trek that we are going to make next day.
Day 03: Pokhara – Sarangkot – Thulakhet – Lakeside (45km, 1592m, 4.3 hours , 100% rideable, 80% single track)
We will ride bicycle towards Sarangkot talking the pleasure of Natural beauty of Pokhara and the Himalayan range along with the famous lakes in the Pokhara city. Sarangkot is the highest hilly point of Pokhara city. From Pokhara City to Sarangkot, it includes the fine tarred road where bicycling with viewing nature is exciting. After Sarangkot we will go downhill to Hemja which contains some off road and the cycling in the offroad is enjoyable. Then, we will return to Hotel View Point Lakeside Pokhara
Day 04: Lakeside -Kalikastan – Begnas (42km, 850m, 4.15hr, 95% drivable, single tracks 80%)
We drive to the National Road today and then go offroad to the Temple Tree. After temple tree, we climb down about 6 km to Kalika. Then we return to Temple tree and stay overnight in Guesthouse.
Day 05: Temple Tree – Rambazar – Bhorletar – Damauli (53km, 340m, 4.45hr, 100% rideable, 95% single track)
After taking breakfast we will do about 4km climb through dense woods until we reach Saure Bhanjyang. Here ends the jeep track and move on, using our technical qualities. We will be biking through Baguwa village to Karpurtar by beautiful rice fields up to an intersection of three roads: for Besi Sahar, Sundari Bazar and Damauli (Karpurtar to Damauli 38km). We will follow the latter through suspension bridges over the Madi and Mitini Khola and reach Damauli. On this day, we will stay in Damauli in Guesthouse.
Day 06: Damauli – Kalasti Khola – Lamte – Bhansar – Turture (58km, 731m, 5.15hr, 100% rideable, 90% single track)
We leave early in the morning towards Ghansi Kuwa which lies in National Highway (Prithivi Highway. From there, it left a “dirt road” and a steep climb direction about 5km and 300m altitude and visit an old Rama Temple. About singletrack goes towards Tanahun district Gaon and different woods we reach Mel Danda, from where we can see beautiful Mountains Machapuchere or Fishtail. After 1.5hr uphill and downhill mountain biking at Chainpur we Maibahal and after more uphills and downhills we arrive in Turture. We stay Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 07: Turture – Kuikel – Chhepetar – Gorkha (37km, 1120m, 3.15hr, 100% rideable, 90% single track)
We stabbing morning the Marsyangdi river, a very famous river for rafting in the world. We reach an abandoned airport and drive uphill and downhill to the village Luitel, a desolate village where you have great views again on Mount Machapuchere, a sacred mountain for the Nepalese. We descend towards the Daraundi river which flows in the mid of Gorkha District and the stabbing of direction Chepetar. Here we have to take a bus that will take us an hour to the “main” road, named 13kilo point. From there we move to Gorkha, an ancient city of Nepal full of cultural and world heritage. We spend the night in a guesthouse at Gorkha Bazar.
Day 08: Gorkha – Arughat (52km, 530m, 3-4 hours, 100% rideable, 85% single track)
After breakfast, we visit first the Gorkha Palace and Gorakhnath Temple and Gorkhakali Temple which is in height from where we can see the ranges of the beautiful Himalayas in Nepal. Then after, we drive downhill end further Arughat. We spend the night in a guesthouse at Arughat Bazar which lies at the bank of beautiful river Budi Gandaki.
Day 09: Arughat – Dhading Besi (40km, 700m, 5 hours, 100% drive, single tracks 80%)
Today is a combination of different trails with few ups and downs(offroad) , but almost plain through the beautiful scenery of rice fields and small villages called Salyantar and we reach to Dhading Besi Bazar. We spend Overnight in a guesthouse at Dhading Besi
Day 10: Dhading – Galchhi bus and Galchhi – Trishuli mountain bike (41km, 700m, 2.45hr, 100% rideable, 70% single track)
Since the road between Dhading Besi and Galchhi is fine tarred, we choose the bus. In Galchhi, we saddle back our bikes and ride along the river to Trishuli to Trishuli Bazar. A very nice day with lots of vegetables and fruit trees remodeling with beautiful scenes of bush and village We reach Trishuli on this day and stay.overnight in a guesthouse at Trishuli Bazar, the old trade center of Nepal
Day 11: Trishuli Bazar – Kathmandu – Thamel (57km, 1350m, 4-3 hours, 100% rideable, 75% single track)
Today we ride another encounter with not less than 57km. It is a climb up to 650m altitude, but nice spread. We drive on a gravel road with little traffic, which gives us the opportunity once again to enjoy a nice last time mountain biking in Nepal. You will have presented some very nice views of the Langtang region with Langtang National Park and the Ganesh Himal separated by rice fields, friendly farmers, waving children until we are in Kathmandu.
Day 12: Kathmandu to Narayansthan via Bhakunde (B.P highway up to Bhakunde around 50km about 6 hours)
Today we drive to Narayanstan from Kathmandu about 6 hours ride with a fine tarred road with beautiful scenes of the Himalayas from Dhulikhel an ancient city lies in Height. From there we reach to Bhakunde following National Highway, B.P highway. From there, we follow offroad about 12km to Narayansthan. On that day we spend our overnight at Naryansthan, Timal a famous homestay of Nepal with indigenous Mongolian people.
Day 13: Narayansthan to Kathmandu
On this day, we ride to Tamaghat via Thulo Parsel. We will visit the birthplace of Palsang Tamang and follow some parts of the famous vertical river Sunkosi and reach plain area Paachkhal famous for agro products and vegetables. Here we catch the National Highway (Araniko Highway). Then after we follow the highway and reach Kathmandu. We spend overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu
Today, we check the list of all necessary documents and goods of our guest. We confirm the flight tickets before 72 hours of departure flight. We advise our guest to put passport and tickets at their handbag for convenience. Himalayan Vacation Treks and Expedition staff representative will take our valuable guests to the airport (3 hours prior to your flight) and bid goodbye. It will be not only goodbye but also the welcome for next visit to Nepal.
